Hygiene Manager
My client is based in the South Lincolnshire area and is looking for a Hygiene Manager
Role Accountabilities.
1. Maintains a standard of hygiene commensurate with a quality food manufacturer and maintains a standard of hygiene which passes customer and professional body audits.
2. Responds promptly to hygiene issues as they arise.
3. Action and follows through all hygiene related audit points to completion.
4. To actively promote a safety culture on the shift and the area and ensure all Health and Safety requirements are met.
5. To maintain standard utilization of materials and labour.
6. To ensure good hygiene and housekeeping practices are maintained at all times of the shift and area. Ensure the product is manufactured in a hygienic environment in compliance with Food Legislation procedures.
7. Ensure good communications are maintained within the hygiene team and good communications are maintained with other departments.
8. Set performance standards for your area of accountability to achieve the required level of profitability. Monitor and report upon performance against these targets as required.
9. To promote high level of motivation within the team through sound leadership. Support and help to implement change processes within the area.
10. Ensure that Company rules and procedures including disciplinary, grievance and absence procedures are correctly and consistently applied.
11. To facilitate a continuous improvement environment.
12 Control and ordering of cleaning chemicals
13 Cleaning schedules – monitoring and maintenance.
